Congratulations to Mrs. Mary Jackson, NTCS elementary art teacher, on her successful completion through the adult education program at RISD. Mrs. Jackson graduated on June 4 in Children's Book Illustration. Thank you Mrs. Jackson for being an example of how we all should be life-long learners and passing on what you have learned to your students. Mrs. Jackson has 4 children's books which she has been working on and is planning to have them published.

Friday, May 31st was a very special day for the New Testament Christian School kindergarten class.  After a year of hard work and hand-on learning, their efforts were recognized at a graduation ceremony.  The students marched in to "Pomp and Circumstance", accompanied by piano teacher Ms. Judy Emerson.  Encouraged by Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Susan Ferris, the ten graduates recited Bible verses, sang songs, and showed off their academic skills.  The boys and girls were each presented with a Christian Character Award highlighting their unique qualities as well as a diploma.  The graduation guests were treated to a slide show featuring various activities throughout the year.  Principal Brennan presented the diplomas and gave the benediction.  All of this excitement was followed by the traditional Ice Cream Sundae Reception.

Congratulations to the Prekindergarten students on a successful year of learning.  Principal Brennan recognized the achievements of the Prekindergarteners on May 31 as she handed out certificates of completion.  The students are looking forward to entering Kindergarten in the fall.
