NTCS offers a variety of sports programs to Junior High and High School students including; Girls’ Soccer, Basketball, and Softball; and Boys’ Soccer, Basketball, and Baseball. Teams compete at the Varsity and /or JV level and also have opportunities to participate in additional group activities together. Our coaches are committed to both teaching athletic skills and developing Christian character in our students.
As a member of the MIAA (Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association), NTCS is afforded great exposure for individual students, our teams and the overall athletic program. Teams are also eligible to compete in MIAA tournaments, providing the highest level of interscholastic competition in the state. The MIAA serves as a governing body, and issues athletic and academic guidelines for student eligibility and gameplay. NTCS is an independant school meaning we are not associated with any league in particular. We do play schools comprised of public, private, and vocational high schools in southeastern Massachusetts. Additionally, our teams participate in games and tournaments sponsored by the ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and other organizations, which enable a rich variety of exposure to teams and programs outside of our region.
Despite limited facilities and a small student body (the smallest in the MIAA), NTCS has enjoyed a great deal of success to which our history of championships, titles, and individual accomplishments can attests. Our students, coaches, and staff work hard to maintain the highest level of integrity and athletics possible, and we are grateful for all of the loyal support that parents and fans give each year. Our athletic program is an important part of many students’ educational experience. It provides opportunities to excel, constructive outlets for expression, emphasis on health and fitness, a chance to live out the Christian faith in full view of others, and is alot of fun in the process!
