Students learn about the environment
Grades 1 and 2 traveled to the Middleborough Herring run to listen to a talk by Herring Commissioner David Cavanaugh. The Herring run in Middleborough is one of the third largest fish runs on the east coast. The students learned about what it was like to be on the bottom of the food chain and how important it is for the environment to have fish like the herring. The students had fun catching and releasing the herring. Thank you to the parents for chaperoning the field trip. The kids had a great time learning about the environment around them.
And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” ~ Genesis 1:20-22

NTCS Granted National Honor Society Membership
NTCS is pleased to announce that we have been granted a chapter in the National Honor Society.
The National Honor Society (NHS) and the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) are the nation's premier organizations recognizing outstanding middle level and high school students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. NHS and NJHS are proudly sponsored by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP).
Schedule A Visit
At any time during the school year, families may request an appointment to meet with us and tour the school. During the school year, we would also encourage scheduling a "shadow day" where your child(ren) will have the opportunity to spend a day in the NTCS classroom. This affords us the opportunity to evaluate your child's needs, and for your child to become more comfortable with potential peers and teachers. This, in combination with the student's previous school history and records, will help us discover how we can best work together to serve the academic needs of your child.
